Initially, I was satisfied with these bags. They were sturdy and a crisp natural color. Unfortunately, as I was putting together party favor bags, I found I needed just a few more. I reordered the exact bags from my previous order but this time the bags received were flimsy and looked much lighter in color... almost bleached by the sun/light source or faded. The handles on my initial order were formed perfectly and stood on their own without any issue. The handles on the 2nd order were bent, flimsy, and didn't hold shape. Aside from the color and handles, there were differences in how the bags were cut and constructed. On the bags of lesser quality, you can easily see serrated edges and more triangular shape to the bottom fold whereas the ones from Lewin were cut more squarely and the fold on the bottom was much more pleasing to the eye and provided for a sturdier base. I'd give the bags and seller from my initial order much more credit and higher rating but because I didn't know when reordering that I would not receive them from the same seller, I have to knock the score down a little.

I ordered these bags a few weeks ago, and I was very pleased with the quality, much like the other reviewers. I was using them to place goodies in for hostess gifts, and I felt good about the quality, especially when I dressed them up with attractive tissue paper.

Well, I needed to give a few more gifts, so I reordered these bags on the Amazon mobile iPhone app last week. I assumed I would get free 2-day shipping again (like last time), since I'm an Amazon Prime customer. I also assumed the bags would be of the same quality as last time, coming from the same seller. Well, not only did I not get 2-day shipping (more like 5 days), but when the bags arrived, I was highly disappointed in the quality. They were bent in places, looked like they had been damaged by water and were flimsy. They were not at all the same as the prior order I made just a few weeks ago! The bags in my last order were crisp and thicker. I notice now that the shipper is different, and these bags arrived by USPS instead of arriving by UPS like my prior order. The product image is exactly the same, though.

Please be careful ordering this product. The price is right, but they manufacturer/shipper just changed. I'm hoping to return the product and get a full refund, but I'm waiting to hear back. I'll post an update once I get my refund.

Update: QQ Outlet was willing to provide a full refund on the bags that I was dissatisfied with so I gave them another star. The company I originally ordered from was BIGFLYSPORTS, and I was very satisfied with their product. They also provided prime delivery. It's weird that two different shippers have the same product page.

These things are flimsy, weak and wrinkled up, I even paid to overnight them as they were needed for a last min wedding thing, waste of money and time forced to use them even though they can barely hold 1/2 pound without bottoming out. Total nightmare

TIP- if you just got stuck like I did, we were able to cut up shipping boxes, cereal boxes, anything we could find thin cardboard and made a bottom to insert into the bags so they wouldn't bottom out as bad, we had added a bottled water, 5hr energy, small bag of nuts bag of pretzels, jerky, Tylonal packets, mini first aid kit, 5 airline bottles of booze and shot glass necklace to each with the thin cardboard bottom inserted in the bottom it held it much better but with wrinkly paper the decals didn't go on the best. We double bagged some and that helped too.

My daughter is getting married in a few months and she wanted to make up "snack bags" to be placed in our guests' hotel rooms. She requested just plain brown bags with handles. I read several reviews and decided to only order one unit (Amazon Prime so no shipping) to test, hoping I could make a larger order later. The negative reviews were on point! The bags were "shrink wrapped" and the bags were crushed and so wrinkled, they are useless even if used for a lesser event. They were cheap and rightly so. I will not be ordering these again unless there's proof I can get them un-wrinkled! If the senders would just place them in-between 2 pieces of cardboard and then wrap, that would help keep them from being crushed.

On the balloons I will tape string with raindrops hanging every few inches, that I will cut out of construction paper,the strings will hang down toward the bags to symbolize the shower. Saw this on pinterest. So cute.

The bags are extremely thin. Not see-through thin, but close to it. They are perfect for what I need, but you can't put anything the least bit heavy in them as you expect from the larger size of the bag. The handle on mine seems fine/firmly attached. Bag is also very wrinkled around where the handles are attached. But really, you can't expect much for this price.

Had I reviewed the product when the first pack came it would have been a five star review - the bags are sturdy, beautiful and without fault... then the second pack came and well they were the complete opposite. Absolute trash. I expect more consistency than this, my second pack probably won't be usable.
